Rupal Patel's high-octane career has taken her from the jungles of Colombia and war zones in Afghanistan, to the gilded halls of NATO Headquarters and Capitol Hill. From military briefing rooms to corporate boardrooms, Rupal has often been the only woman in hyper-Alpha environments, and after a thrilling career at the CIA, she earned her MBA from London Business School and started her first business venture (a real estate investment and development group) almost ten years ago.
As a leadership consultant and strategic advisor, she helps founders, corporate leaders, and next generation change-makers unleash their potential, and lead in powerful, meaningful ways while building steel-core confidence, mental toughness, and personal resilience. She spoke at the Bazaar at Work Conference nine days after giving birth to her second daughter, earning her the title “Power Woman” from the magazine’s Editor-in-Chief.
She has been appointed Entrepreneur in Residence at London Business School; is a Business Mentor for Virgin Startup; and is a sought-after international speaker and business consultant. Her upcoming book, From CIA to CEO: Unconventional Life Lessons for Thinking Bigger, Leading Better, and Being Bolder (Bonnier UK, May 2022) draws on her CIA training in adaptability, high-pressure performance, and mental agility, and combines those unique insights with her own business grounding to offer a one-of-a-kind tradecraft toolkit for anyone looking to get out of their own way in pursuit of personal excellence.
